Behind the ranking

Charts should feel exciting—and make sense.

Taaleeka follows the weekly story of songs connecting with Bangladesh. Here is the simple version of what earns a place and what each movement means.

01

A new chapter every week

Each chart is a weekly snapshot. Songs can climb, fall, debut or return as the listening story changes.

02

Real releases only

We look for genuine, publicly available songs with a clear artist and release identity. Alternate delivery versions, duplicates and unavailable links do not belong in the chart.

03

Bangladesh at the centre

The charts are shaped around music and momentum that matter to listeners in Bangladesh, with Bengali context built into discovery and review.

04

Movement tells the story

Rank, peak, weeks on chart and week-to-week movement show a song’s journey without publishing private consumption totals.

One important note

A ranking is a moment, not a verdict.

The chart reflects weekly activity and discovery. It is not a measure of artistic quality, and every eligible song gets another chance to move as a new week begins.
